Prepping for gift giving has never been easier! DWNTWN’s local shops are all geared up for Gobble Wobble & Small Business Saturday on November 25th from 8 am – 10 pm. This event brings an influx of people from all over East Central Indiana to historic downtown Muncie to buy gifts for their loved ones. Many shops will have special discounts during this event, plus, you could win some DWNTWN swag by following these steps:
- Grab a Gobble Wobble & Small Business Saturday map from participating locations
- Buy six items from different shops/restaurants while marking off your map
- Post a photo of your map on the Downtown Muncie Facebook page. The first 10 people to post will win a DWNTWN hoodie!

Brighten up your holiday spirit with amazing light shows all around Muncie. On December 1st & 2nd, from 5 – 9 pm, Minnetrista will be hosting their annual Enchanted Luminaria Walk. This event is free to the public, so bundle up the family and check it out! Enjoy three miles of lights, beautiful scenery, and more!
On December 7th from 5 – 8 pm at Canan Commons, Muncie Downtown Development Partnership will be illuminating the streets at Light Up DWNTWN. The night will kick off with musical performances, and the lighting is set to shine at 6 pm. Many art vendors will be selling uniquely made gifts throughout the downtown. For the rest of December, enjoy light shows every Thursday-Sunday at 6, 7, 8, and 9 pm.
Cruise over to the other side of town for Holidays at Gresham, Meridian Health Services’ drive-thru light show that takes place every weekend in December from 6 – 9 pm. Stay nice and cozy in your car and soak in the festive vibes.
Stop at the Muncie Visitors Bureau from 9 – 2 pm. Ask about entering to win a $50 gift card from Muncie Visitors Bureau to kick off your holiday shopping!!
