“Warriors and Heroes” — Bringing Us All Together
– Free Orchestral Concert at Muncie Central H.S: October 26, Saturday 7 pm –
Muncie’s East Central Indiana Chamber Orchestra (ECICO) invites the public to its annual Fall
Semester Concert, being presented in the auditorium of Muncie Central High School, on
Saturday evening, October 26th, 2024 at 7:00 pm. Admission and parking are Free for
attendees, at 801 N Walnut St, Muncie IN.
First-year ECICO Conductor Isaac Denniston, music & media instructor at Muncie Northside
Middle school, and Conductor of the Anderson University Community Band, heads up this
family-friendly program of exciting, contemporary pieces – a music lineup that honors the
spirit of honesty, strength, and goodness from the many hero stories of legend, myth, and
history.
Very Special Guest Performers with ECICO at this concert are the outstanding choral
students from both Muncie Middle Schools, on-stage with the orchestra: the Northside Middle
School Titans Choir, directed by Isaac Denniston, and the Southside Middle School Panthers
Choir, directed by Jaelyn Hence.
The non-profit East Central Indiana Chamber Orchestra (ECICO) is composed of local adult
and Ball State University student musicians and conductors, and has been performing free,
public concerts in Muncie more than 40 years. Its mission is to offer the orchestra experience
to local musicians and performance groups, and to give new audiences the chance to
experience and learn about live orchestral music performances at no cost .
