The Muncie Parks and Recreation Department will host a “National Kids to Parks Day” event on Saturday, May 17, at Canan Commons, 600 S. Walnut St.
Hours for the free event are noon to 4 p.m. The celebration will feature “bouncy” houses, a balloon man, face painting and music.
