Lavender Graduation

As graduation draws near, we are excited to celebrate LGBTQ+ students who are graduating. We want them to enjoy their achievements and ceremony being their authentic selves.
On June 1st, we are hosting a Lavender Graduation for all interested LGBTQ+ college, high school, home school, trade school and GED students. You do not have to be a Muncie OUTreach member to participate.
As you are likely aware, it is difficult for many students to graduate using their chosen names and pronouns. Dr. Ronni Sanlo created Lavender Graduation, a LGBTQ+ commencement tradition that affirms students’ identities and embraces their individuality.
The event will be hosted at beautiful Minnetrista, nestled between sprawling gardens and historic homes, all which once belonged to the Ball Brothers. All family and friends are welcome to attend so we can celebrate and lift up our graduates as they continue on their journey.
