A Free Concert presented by the Flute & Clarinet Choirs of America’s Hometown Band – Sat., Oct. 19 2:00 pm
be Playing For You on Saturday, October 19 at 2:00 pm, are two of the very talented
music ensemble groups from America’s Hometown Band of Muncie — the Central
Indiana Flute Choir, led by Becky Boyce, and the AHB Clarinet Connection, led by
Steve Stickler.
This annual joint concert takes place in the auditorium of Heritage Hall School’s Fine
Arts Building, 6401 W River Rd, Muncie IN, across from Grace Baptist Church.
Admission & parking are free, and the public is invited.
From the Flutes – come enjoy CLASSIC rock themes from Elvis, James Taylor, Billy
Joel,The Beatles, Beach Boys, and more.
From the Clarinets – hear them collaborate on CLASSICAL themes that bring back
those Saturday mornings of yesteryear, with beloved cartoon music from The Jetsons,
The Flintstones, Pink Panther, Sorcerer’s Apprentice – plus a few of those great musical
‘action’ themes.
These ensembles each number about 15 members, with each using the ‘choir voices’
of soprano, alto, tenor, and bass by using instruments ranging from very small to very
large, to create their rich blended sounds.
