Calling all Ball State Alumni, fans, and friends: celebrate your Cardinal pride with the Ball State University Alumni Association before home football games! Two-hours before kickoff outside the Alumni Center there will be food, fun, entertainment, and camaraderie. Each CharlieTown tailgate will feature local food trucks and drink vendors such as Guardian Brewing, The Clubhouse, Neighborhood Pizza, The Food Vault, Danger Dog Concessions, Barnyard Concessions, Ohana Donuts and Ice Cream, Kona Ice, and Donut NV. Stop by and support local businesses!
Cardinal Walk
Two hours before kickoff, at the start of CharlieTown, you’re invited to line up along Cardinal Drive to cheer on the football team and coaches as they walk down Cardinal Drive from the parking lot to the stadium.
Pep Rally
One hour before kickoff join the Ball State Cheer Team, Code Red Dancers, Pride of Mid-America Marching Band, Charlie Cardinal, and special guests Ball State President Geoffrey S. Mearns, Director of Athletics Jeff Mitchell, and President of the Alumni Council Laura Cain for a pep rally before heading into the stadium.
