America’s Hometown Band Plays for You! — AHB’s 2024 outdoor concert season in Muncie continues on Thursday, August 15th at 7:30 pm, at Westside Park – open to all, and no ticket needed.
This Concert Band performance is called – “Oh, the Places Music Takes Us!” – like the way favorite tunes can evoke times & places to enjoy again.
This program is a bit of a time-travel collection of pieces, from Dixieland (a combo led by AHB trumpeter Larry McWilliams), to songs by the Beatles, Queen, Michael Jackson, and more — meant to bring back faces & places that the heart remembers.
Concert location is Westside Park, with entrance at 2400 W White River Blvd – plenty of shaded lawn-chair space for you, your family & pals
