The fun continues the next day with Muncie Mama’s Market, a curated indoor shopping experience featuring more than 110 vendors across two buildings. Look for handmade goods, boutique finds, food, drinks, and interactive experiences. Early shoppers can even score special goodie bags, while families can enjoy activities, a photobooth, and surprise character appearances. Plan a girls day and shop your heart out!

Spring in Delaware County means the return of the beloved Outdoor Farmers Market at Minnetrista. Each Saturday from May through October at 9 am to noon, locals and visitors alike gather to browse rows of fresh produce, homemade baked goods, and one-of-a-kind artisan finds, all set against the backdrop of Minnetrista’s beautiful gardens. Enjoy the sounds of local musicians, the smell of fresh food, and the chance to connect with the people who grow and make it all.

Brink of Summer ArtsWalk + Flower Hour

DWNTWN Muncie’s Brink of Summer ArtsWalk + Flower Hour is a special edition of First Thursday happening June 4 from 5–8 p.m. This vibrant evening transforms the downtown into a celebration of creativity, where you can watch local artists at work, browse unique finds at YART, and explore the energy that makes Muncie’s arts scene so great.
One of the highlights of the evening is Flower Hour, where you can collect flowers as you wander and build your own fresh bouquet along the way. You’ll also find printmakers creating massive works of art using a steamroller as a press which is an unforgettable demonstration of skill and scale you won’t see every day. Tickets will need to be purchased for participation in Flower Hour.
