The Muncie Makers Market and MadJax Maker Force are in partnership every Third Thursday from 5-8p to bring us all together for an insider exploration – we know you’re curious! Our next Third Thursday event is TODAY, Thursday, October 16th! 🎃 MadJax, named for their location at the corner of Madison and Jackson, is a former factory with an industrial vibe turned into a GIANT multi-business venue at 515 East Jackson Street. Like a cool mall with only independent businesses inside. During our Market hours today, Minnetrista will join us with information about upcoming programs/events, Mason Hastings from BSU Performance Pop Lab will play music, and Sacred Steps Yoga will host Plant BINGO! Also inside MadJax are Mad Axe Muncie (axe throwing, bowling with nerf footballs, beer) and The Guardian Brewery (pizzeria, full menu, beer/wine), The Aerial Annex (flyers on “silks” from the massive ceiling!), Beyond I Can, Artist Studios, and of course Co:Lab, The Design Lab, and The Shipyard – MadJax’s collaborative work/makers spaces! You can wander through it all, ask questions, take tours, enjoy the entertainment, shop, eat, drink, and hang out with your neighbors who support LOCAL.
We are creating a fun and unique “night market” vibe for folks every month! While you enjoy the Hoosier excellence of our local Artisans from the Muncie Makers Market, you’ll be able to enjoy brews from the bars of both Guardian and Mad Axe – Sip & Shop! (And of course there are plenty of NA beverages too.) I hope YOU choose to enjoy our unique and high quality offerings and support our creative community every Third Thursday!
