We asked the community to share their favorite restaurants, and the results are in! There was a diverse lineup of passionate nominations and must-try dishes from long-time classic pub foods to new neighborhood standouts.  

Based on your votes, here are Delaware County’s top restaurants of 2025, ranked by the community and full of recommendations straight from local diners. 

1st Amazing Joe’s Grill 

Amazing Joe’s topped the list for a reason. Locally owned and known for their great customer service, the menu covers just about everything—steaks, pastas, burgers, ribs, seafood, and comfort-food favorites. It’s the kind of place where everyone can find a dish they dig and the atmosphere feels reliably good.

Runner Up Bayleaf Indian Restaurant 

Runner up was Bayleaf, a restaurant blending tradition and creativity to bring authentic Indian cuisine to Muncie. Located steps from Ball State University, it’s become the spot for comforting curries and those who love a little spice.

  • Extra-spicy Chicken Tikka Masala

Some of the best Indian cuisine in East Central Indiana. 

3rd Savage’s Ale House 

Savage’s is the kind of spot that feels like home. With craft beers, classic American eats, a pool table, and retro character, it’s no surprise it was named Indiana’s Best “Hole in the Wall” Restaurant by Tasting Table in 2024. 

What voters love: 

  • Wings 
  • Hand Breaded and Beer Battered Tenderloins 
  • Famous Grilled Cheese (stuffed with fried mozzarella sticks inside Texas toast!)

For casual nights out, comfort food, and a vibe that’s unmistakably Muncie. 

4th Elm Street Brewing 

Find craft beer, pub fare, and live music all in one stop at Elm Street. Groups noted the quality beer and ever-rotating selection of specials.

A great hangout spot with good food, fun events, and unique brews. 

4th Ron Lahody’s Trust Your Butcher Steakhouse 

With exceptional hospitality, and over 200 bourbon and whiskey options, Lahody’s delivers a fine-dining experience locals swear by.
